I’m launching a business website on WordPress. Traffic will be low at first, but I want room to grow. I see Standalone Kit and Cluster Kit, what’s the real difference, and which one should I start with?

Start with WordPress Standalone Kit if:

  • You’re launching a new site or blog

  • Traffic is predictable or low to moderate

  • You want simplicity and lower cost

Standalone runs your site on a single optimized server. It’s fast, stable, and more than enough for most business sites.

Choose WordPress Cluster Kit if:

  • You expect traffic spikes (campaigns, ads, sales)

  • Downtime is not an option

  • You’re running WooCommerce or multiple high-traffic sites

Cluster Kit distributes load across multiple nodes, so traffic surges don’t choke your site.

Reality check: You can always start with Standalone and move to Cluster later. Over-engineering on day one just burns money.
